At last V-twin motor is fitted with one-off motor mounting brackets. Sprockets line up and ancillaries are being connected. Lowest tip of Mito right frame rail has to be ground off allowing clearence for clutch cover, Oil pump control cable has to be re-positioned, but apart from that the motor fits in the main frame easily.We are using some tatty Arrow pipes for testing, and may modify these to improve ground clearence. Most control connections are straightforward the most complicated include amalgamating Mito wiring loom to RS ignition and exhaust valve control circuits to make one neat and tidy wiring harness, also finding a suitable hose/routing for coolant return circuit to mito radiator.

Next steps are to find and connect suitable oil and coolant reservoirs, then its lamps and bodywork + MOT time. Better pictures of final test bike to be posted shortly, and after 1 months test riding to sort out any problems we will remove the motor and have the mounting hardware duplicated, offer this as a kit for sale together with guidelines for connecting up. Here are a few more photos of further progress. Motor is all connected & running now. Need to adapt gearshift link, find suitable coolant reservoir, secure various ancillaries and modify/fit fairing lowers to get to MOT stage. We have now fitted speedline wheels, they weigh a lot less than the Mito standard wheels & look better too. Looks like we may have to modify expansion chambers to improve ground clearence.
